Not too long ago I was working at a job that paid the bills, but gave me no real satisfaction. I was at a point in my life where I wanted a change and wanted to have a career that I enjoyed. I was tired of dreading going to work each day. I looked at many options, none of which appealed to me. Then I considered massage therapy. To be honest, I was only interested in massage. It wasn't until later that I fully appreciated it not only as a career but aslo as an important part of my life.
I looked at a few schools in Utah and decided on Myotherapy College of Utah. I then packed up my things and made the trip from Kentucky to Utah for a fresh start. It took only a few weeks before I knew I had made the right decision.
In August of 2012 I graduated from Myotherapy College of Utah, passed the National Board exam, and got my license. I took a few months off before getting a job working at a high end spa as a guest reception and reservations agent. The experience was invaluable and the training was amazing, however I realized I needed to go back to what I had a passion for: working closely with clients on a regular basis to help them achieve their wellness goals.
That brings me to now. I opened my practice in February of 2013 and plan on many fullfilling years to come!
